Pinot & pasta

Here are a few sample images photographer extraordinaire Christopher Gentile and I recently captured as part of more upcoming food and wine shots for Rosehall Run Winery. Being able to shoot for clients in PEC is fantastic;  it’s also exciting to see our FoodographyPEC workshops so well received.

I’ll be at Rosehall Run Winery offering a mini-food styling workshop (without Christopher’s photography tutorial this time…unless I can convince him) on Feb 17 from 10am -1 pm, as a participant in an incredible package weekend you can read about here. I’ll be in the winery tasting room alongside Elizabeth Pulker, whose cookbook Farm to Table Breakfasts in Prince Edward County was a wonderful project that I had the pleasure of working on as food/ prop stylist…so the breakfast is sure to taste and look good ! I hope we’ll feature something with maple syrup…one of my favourite things about living in the County.Maple in the County is one event that’s always on my calendar every Spring, and we actually planned the next, March 8 FoodographyPEC workshop (at Huff Estates Winery) in order to be able to attend.

It’s been fantastic working with Christopher, who actually grew up in the County and shares my special joy in finally teaming up to do work together. Combining his 30 years of commercial film and photography experience with my fascination with all things food…is proving to be a very good match. See more of the work we’ve done together on Christopher’s blog.
